COPPER RIVER SALMON SEASON
IS CURRENTLY CLOSED!

Friday, June 7: The team at our seafood company reports that the Alaska Department of Fish & Game has closed the Copper River District for commercial fishing. After successful early openings, the fish counts for king and sockeye salmon have declined. It is rare that the Copper River would close so early but it is a clear example of the Department's committment to careful management of the fishery. Future openings wil be announced on short notice. Check back often for the most current updates on Copper River Salmon at Anthony's.

Copper River Salmon is Here!

Ushering in with the season's highly anticipated arrival of Copper River Salmon on Friday May 17th, it also marks the Fourth Annual Copper Chef Cook-Off! Our very own Executive Chef Pat Donahue, Three-Time Winner, will compete for the title of Copper Chef in what we hope is a Four-Time victory! Copper River King Salmon is revered as a delicacy among seafood fans for its rich texture, unique flavor and abundance of healthy Omega-3 fatty acids. Joining the Kings, we will also offer the brilliantly colored Copper River Sockeyes as well. With the unpredictability of the Copper River season and these great fish being in such high-demand, arrival and availability will vary from location. Please check back periodically on our website for location-specific availability.
