Meet the Farmers Behind the Half Shell!

It’s our favorite time of year.  A time when we take a moment to celebrate our favorite bivalve, the Oyster.  At Anthony’s we serve a variety of oysters, which vary from location to location based on what is fresh.  Generally, a selection of Kumamoto oysters, Barron Point Oysters, Olympia Oysters, and Anthony’s Select Oysters are available in March.  Anthony’s Select Oysters are from Discovery Bay and harvested by Johnson & Gunstone Shellfish, a family owned shellfish farm operated by their 5th generation.

At Anthony’s, we believe that quality matters, which is why we source ingredients with intention and always hold ourselves to a higher standard. Check out the videos below to get a behind-the-scenes look at our amazing shellfish partners and see how we get these oysters from the water to your plate!
